Showreel

Fifteen seconds of motion graphics, written as a résumé reel: seven crafts in seven beats of a 120 bpm track, each scene handing off to the next through a match cut instead of a wipe. Every frame is a pure function of time drawn on a canvas, and each one averages five sub-samples, so the motion blur is real.

  1. Squash & stretch: a dot winds up, launches and becomes a line that splits open.
  2. Kinetic type: MOTION rises letter by letter in a variable weight; an E drops in and makes it EMOTION.
  3. Shape morph: the camera flies through the O; circle, square, triangle and star, one per beat, with ripples and echoes.
  4. Particles: the star shatters into 4,200 particles that spell CRAFT, then drain down the tunnel.
  5. Depth: a bending tunnel and a shaded cube whose lime face fills the screen.
  6. Metaballs: liquid blobs on that lime; their cream cores swell into the paper of the next scene.
  7. Data: an odometer counts the reel's 900 frames, bars and a line chart draw in, tiles flip to black.
